Barton Fink (1991) – Starring John Tutorro and John Goodman. A writer suffers from writer’s block while experiencing all that is awful about Hollywood.

Braveheart (1995) – Starring Mel Gibson – Fueled by the execution of his lover, a Scottish soldier leads a revolt against the English.

Chinatown (1974) – Starring Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway. A detective becomes entangled in a world of corruption while investigating an adulterer.

Click (2006) – Starring Adam Sandler and Kate Beckinsale. A man finds a magic remote control he can use to fast-forward, rewind, and pause his life.

Comic Book Villains (2002) – Starring Donal Logue. The story of a rivalry between two comic book shop owners.

Commune (2005) – A documentary about the Black Bear Ranch Commune in California.

Coneheads (1993) – Starring Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin. Cone-shape-headed aliens come to Earth and become part of a neighborhood in New Jersey.

Death Wish (1974) – Starring Charles Bronson. A man seeks revenge against a New York gang that raped his daughter.

Death Wish 2 (1982) – Starring Charles Bronson. A vigilante goes hunting for the group responsible for the murder of his cook and the rape of his daughter.

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2007) – Starring Mathieu Amalric. Based on the true story of Elle editor Jean-Dominique Bauby, who lives his life paralyzed after suffering a stroke.

Dragonslayer (1981) – Starring Peter MacNicol and Caitlin Clarke. A man is sent to slay a dragon that has after it murders girls in a nearby kingdom.

The English Patient (1996) – Starring Ray Fiennes, Juliette Binoche, and Willem Dafoe. A nurse tends to a badly burned victim who doesn’t remember who he is.

The Fifth Element (1997) – Starring Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich, and Gary Oldman. A cab driver becomes entangled in a plot to save Earth. Multipass!

The Heart of the Game (2005) – Starring Darnellia Russell, Bill Resler, and Ludacris. A documentary about a Seattle basketball team and a player who fights to regain her eligibility.

The Inbetweeners: Season 3 (2008 – 2010) Starring Simon Bird, James Buckley, and Blake Harrison. A British comedy about four guys growing from their teenage years to adulthood.

Inventing the Abbotts (1997) – Starring Liv Tyler, Jennifer Connely, and Joaquin Phoenix. Two blue-collar boys try to woo three upper-class sisters.

Jumanji (1995) – Starring Robin Williams, Kirsten Dunst, and Bonnie Hunt. A man gets trapped in a magic board game.

The Lady in Number 6 (2014) – Starring Alice Herz-Sommer. An original Netflix documentary that tells the story of a Holocaust survivor.

A League of Their Own (1992) – Starring Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, Madonna, and Lori Petty. A comedy loosely based on the story of the first female professional baseball league.

Mean Girls (2004) – Starring Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams. A girl falls in with a popular clique at her new high school.

The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear (1991) – Starring Leslie Nielsen and Priscilla Presley.

Point Break (1991) – Starring Patrick Swayze, Keanu Reeves, and Gary Busey. An FBI agent goes undercover to catch a gang of surfer bank robbers.

The Running Man (1987) – Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. A man is wrongly convicted of a crime, and must survive a public game show execution.

Scary Movie 3 (2003) – Starring Charlie Sheen and Anna Faris. The third installment of the popular spoof comedy that pokes fun at the Scream series of horror films, as well as other popular films.

Sense and Sensibility (1995) – starring Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, and James Fleet. A man dies and leaves his wife and her three daughters poor by rules of inheritance.

The Terminator (1984) – Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. A robot is sent into the past to kill a mother before she gives birth to the leader of its enemy.

There’s No Business Like Show Business (1954) – Starring Ethel Merman, Marilyn Monroe, and Donald O’Connor. A husband and wife vaudeville team try to keep their family stable after their son meets a girl.

Titanic (1997) – Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. A love story that takes place aboard the famous Titanic ship.

The Yards (2000) – Starring Mark Wahlberg, Joaquin Phoenix, and Charlize Theron. A team of contractors sabotage the work of a rival contractor when things go bad.

The Benchwarmers (2006) – Starring David Spade, Jon Heder, and Rob Schneider. Three adult men form a baseball team to compete against little league teams in an effort to make up for their missed opportunities as children.

 

Apr 29

Freedomland (2006) – Starring Julianne Moore and Samuel L. Jackson. Racial tension grows in a small town where a woman claims her child was kidnapped by a black man.
