I tried to experiment with Hulu’s Watch Party. A feature that allows you to watch Hulu content and interact with it via chat with others.
The feature didn’t work for me. Throwing a “Sorry. We’ve encountered an error processing this request. Please clear your browser cache and try again”.
Clearing cache didn’t work for me though. It turns out that the Watch Party feature doesn’t play well with certain web browser plugins. Most notably, ad blockers.
UBlock Origin was causing the issue for me. Once I disabled the plugin, I reloaded Hulu and was able to load the Watch Party screen.
If you have the same problem, try selecting the menu with the 3 dots in your web browser, then choose Extensions. From there, you should be able to disable the problematic plugin.
