If you have an older analog CRT Television that isn’t a smart TV and doesn’t have an HDMI connection, you can still use the Amazon Fire TV device with it. - If you don’t have one already, purchase an HDMI to 3RCA Composite AV converter box. Personally, I have been using the Elekcity Mini HDMI to AV Composite Converter.
- Connect the Fire TV to the converter box using a standard HDMI cable. For Firestick, connect the device directly to the HDMI port on the adapter.
- Connect the converter box to the TV using a 3RCA Composite cable. This cable may be included with the adapter.
- Be sure the converter box is plugged in and powered using a power block and wall outlet. Do not plug it into a USB port as it may not provide enough power.
